ProtoHuman ("we", "us", "our") operates this website as an independent digital publication focused on biohacking, longevity science, and human performance. We act as the data controller for personal data collected through this site.

We do not collect special category data (health records, genetic data, biometric identifiers) even though our editorial content discusses these topics. Reading about longevity science does not constitute medical data processing.

Under KVKK Article 5 and GDPR Article 6, we process personal data on the following legal bases:

Where data is transferred outside Turkey, we ensure adequate safeguards are in place in accordance with KVKK Article 9 and, where applicable, GDPR Chapter V (Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions).

Under KVKK Article 11 and GDPR Articles 15–22, you have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion or anonymisation of your data
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Request restriction of processing
  • Data portability (where processing is automated and consent-based)
  • Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing)
  • Lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurumu) or your local supervisory authority
